Delhi International Cargo Terminal added another feather to its cap by receiving a block train of 90 TEUs for the Korean Marine Transportation Company (KMTC) from Mundra. This is the first ever block train of KMTC in North India.
The train was flagged-off from Mundra, Gujarat on 28th April and arrived Delhi International Cargo Terminal on 01st May 2019.
The incoming train was flagged by the Managing Director (India) and General Manager (North India) of KMTC. The Block schedule for KMTC will be on a weekly basis every Tuesday from Mundra to DICT.
DICT is currently handling an average volume of 10,000 TEUs with 11 per cent share of NCR market making DICT No. 1 Private ICD in the region. DICT has 16 rakes in the pool with 8-9 services for Mundra and 2-3 Services for Pipavav.
