PICT QHSE Team is committed to establish a safe and healthy work environment inside the terminal. As a part of QHSE management system, the followings have been highlighted -

The team has established the culture of encouraging our staff to report and document incidents, dangerous occurrence or near-misses.

PICT Terminal constantly develops its QHSE focus which is as a part of continual improvement of policy.

  • Critical Incident Reporting (CIR)

Critical Incident Reporting portal has been followed by PICT.

The purpose for the timely reporting and investigation of incidents are categorized as under:

Part A : Initial notification of an incident occurring reported within 24 hours.

Part B : Incident Investigation is completed within 21 days from the date of incident.

Part C : The timeframe of an action plan between the submission and the approval of the investigation by the higher authority is designed.

  • Celebration of National Safety Week

48th Safety week was celebrated at PICT Terminal from 04.03.2019 to 08.03.2019. It started with safety pledge and followed by the following activities :

  • Group discussion on safety
  • Safety quiz competition
  • Safety essay, slogan and cartoon
  • Unsafe act and unsafe condition identification
  • Flag hoisting
  • Fire fighting training by CISF division

At the end, Capt. Satyabrata Satpathy, Terminal Head felicitated the winners with certificates and prizes. He also addressed the gathering to focus on improvement of Culture and Behavior towards Safety to achieve our one and only motto i.e. “ZERO ACCIDENT”.
